Renault Duster, with Francisco Jose Garcia on the wheel, finished the Dakar Rally on the 29th place. The Duster, with the Argentinean behind the wheel, maintained this position throughout the competition that was won by Stephane Peterhansel for the eleventh time.
The second Duster, drove by his teammate Emiliano Spataro was excluded from the competition with only two days before the final, due to irregular engine changes, at a time when it was ranked on the 24th place.
